Logo Design: A Window into the Arts

We approached OWA's logo redesign with a vision to create more than just a symbol. We wanted their new logo to serve as a window into the world of fine arts, so we focused on creating a simple, legible, recognizable logo that could be repurposed over and over to showcase what was actually going on within the walls of the auditorium. The project was a major success, and the logo and brand redesign provided the cultural center with a fresh look that helped to maintain community relevance.

We understand that all art is a story, so our advertising approach for fellow artists at OWA was especially near to our hearts. We leveraged OWA's new branding elements to design billboards that echoed OWA's steadfast commitment to the arts. Each advertisement was a canvas to showcase and promote upcoming shows.

To promote OWA's upcoming show series, we created a suite of designs for social media engagement. Recognizing the importance of performer, our designs were reflective of both the performer’s brand as well as the consistent use of the OWA brand.

Website Redesign: Modernized, Integrated & Mobile-Friendly

At Springer Studios, we love to modernize websites and add functionality to save our clients time – and with the OWA website redesign, we accomplished both! The previous site was literally built in the 90’s, so mobile-friendly was a top request, along with incorporating the new brand identity and aesthetics that strike the right chord with the arts community. Additionally, we configured the Etix API feed to pull the upcoming show data directly into the website.

Nestled within Brunswick Community College, Odell Williamson Auditorium holds a unique place in the southeastern NC arts community. The rebranding success lies in the harmonious blend of OWA's individual identity with that of the community college in which it's housed.
